The last couple of days have been extremely full. London has not offered me anytime to debrief and think about my experiences. It is such a busy city.
Our first program in London was attending refugee exhibits within The British Museum which is an extremely large collection of artifacts from all over the world. It was refugee week so throughout London there were many events and exhibitions to promote awareness of the refugee crisis.
One night we went to dinner at a restaurant on the Thames river that is said to be where The Mayflower departed. After dinner we walked up the river towards Tower Bridge and explored through the neighborhoods.
We have visited the Camden Market several times it is so fun and has very unique shops and a food court with foods from all around the world.
Another market that we visited was the brixton market. Near this market was a beautiful mural of David Bowie.
